NOTE: These Finial Dowel Caps are unfinished wood and have a nice smooth finished. The dimensions are 3/4 inches tall with 1/4 inch hole half way thru the cap for fitting of a 1/2 inch dowel rod. These Finial Dowel Caps are great for finishing dowel rods with so many uses. The craftsmanship and quality of the unfinished wood turnings are fabulous. Unfinished wood can be so versatile. You can leave it natural or unfinished, stain, apply a wash, decoupage, use color pencils, sharpie or marker, watercolor, stamp on it, paint with acrylic, metallic, pearl finish. You can even dye the wood.
