The Power Wedge makes clamping easier and safer. It also decreases the likelihood of employee injuries, and helps move slabs more efficiently by increasing the distance between slabs so clamps are more easily inserted. The Power Wedge can also be used for separating an installed slab. The reinforced base is designed so you can insert it between the edge of the granite counter top and the cabinet or substrate (either plywood or a cement fiberboard substrate). You can then use a hammer on the Power Wedge to help isolate the slab.
