Product Review
Simple and easy to use: -Place the cloth filter inside the opening of a Chorreador (Costa Rica Wooden Stand Coffee Maker: Not included-sold separately, listed separately). -Depending on the strength and the quantity of the coffee you would like to make, add the right amount of your favorite coffee grind inside the cloth filter (Colador/Bolsa). -Under the cloth filter, place the appropriate size of glassware for your coffee to drain into. -Slowly pour over enough boiling water until you reach your desired coffee strength. Cleaning and maintaining: -Rinse the cloth filter in warm water after each use. -Allow the cloth filter to dry between uses, or save it in a plastic bag inside the refrigerator when it is not used for extended periods of time. Warning: (Do not) use any kind of soap or detergent to clean the cloth filter, because it will leave undesirable taste in the cloth material which will be transferred to the brewed coffee as well. Alternatively you can clean the cloth filter rubbing it in salt and rinsing it in warm water every once in a while. Note: It is normal for the cloth filter to get stained and change its color to dark brown after a few uses due to the oils that get released from the coffee grinds during the brewing process, That will not affect the function of the cloth filter nor the taste of the brewed coffee in any negative way. On the contrary, traditionally it's believed that the longer a cloth filter has been used for to brew coffee the better the taste of the coffee will get. Included cloth filters (Colador/Bolsa) Size: 1 Large: 7"x4"x0.25", 2 Medium: 6"x3.5"x0.25" Wooden handle length: 2" (5cm)
