If you want a half-man-half-something-else to handle the oftentimes confusing transition into the afterlife, Anubis is your guy! He's familiar with all the paperwork (papyrus-work?), he can navigate around those labyrinthine tombs with ease, and he has the inside scoop on what Osiris wants for his birthday! (Hint: it's not yet another novelty tie...I'm looking at you, Ra.) Yet with the jackal-face comes some canine proclivities! Don't be surprised if the otherwise businesslike Anubis pauses to lick your face! If you're snacking on one of those ancient Egyptian banana cream pies, there is a very high chance that Anubis will sit patiently on the ground, looking up at you, expectantly waiting for you to share! Fear not, and cuddle with Anubis!
