River anchors are intended for use in lakes and rivers with strong currents or drifts. The design uses a combination of weight and flukes for a firm hold, even in windy conditions. The large flukes hold well in muddy, rocky, or weed / grass bottoms. Vinyl coating on anchor body and flukes protects boat surfaces. For best hold, lower anchor slowly to allow flukes to penetrate.
