Banana Shrub -Large magnolia-like flowers emit a wonderful scent similar to ripening bananas. The creamy-yellow colored petals are edged with maroon and are 1 1/2 inches in diameter. A wonderful addition to any garden or patio. Evergreen, this dense upright shrub grows to 6-8 feet but under ideal conditions can grow almost twice that size. Easily maintained to a smaller size since it growth is moderate to moderately slow. Great as a specimen plant or space them 36 - 60 inches. Zones 8a-11. Well-drained soil. Performs well as a containerized plant. You will be receiving 1 plant between 3 & 8 inches in a 3 inch deep pot.
