- If you are buying to replace the gas strut on the gun safe, please be sure to first confirm that the center-to-center measurement of the original gas strut is around 7 inches. If the original gas strut’s center-to-center measurement is 7.5 inches, then it will be slightly shorter. If this matters to you, please do not place an order.
