VistaView Stainless Steel Hand-Crimp Stemball Swages are the perfect end to a Do-It-Yourself cable railing. The stemballs are relatively small compared to a lot of other hardware options available to end a run. Their size allows them to be primarily hidden within an end post, with only the head of the fitting being exposed to hold the cable in place as you tension against it. The stemball swages provide an economical end fitting, while still making sure your railing is functional as well as safe and secure.

These Stemball Swages require a special hand-crimper tool. Make sure to use the VistaView CableTec Hand Crimper Tool for 1/8" fittings or a comparable marine style crimper tool. Standard crimper tools typically will not put a sufficient crimp on these stainless steel fittings, which could result in cable loosening and slipping out. If installing on wood posts, be sure to use the provided flat washers.
