Gray Horde continues where Shield of Mongetai left off. The Mongol Prince Mongetai and his small force of 200 warriors begin their invasion of Sibir charged by Kublai Khan with the mission of punishing the Yakut chieftan, Han KaÄŸan. In a parallel story, the Wokou pirates led by the enigmatic Akio Tanaka conduct a raid on a Goryean village in what today is known as the eastern coast of Korea. Unbeknownst to both Mongetai and Tanaka is that their destiny's will become intertwined and lead to the Mongol discovery of a new continent that lays at the end of the "broken bridge". A place that over two centuries years later will be called America.
