German Extra Hardy - Hardneck A must grow garlic for beginning gardeners! Very large, hardy and very easy to grow popular garlic. Not only is it easy to grow, but it gives gardeners a wonderful all purpose garlic flavor with 5-7 large easy to peel cloves. A longer storing garlic as it will usually store until late winter. This vigorous garlic with long roots gives it the ability to overwinter without heaving out of the ground leading to growing success. These bulbs can grow up to 3", but most are usually 2.25-2.75" consistently. About 24 LARGE cloves per 1/2lb. which will plant about 12 linear feet.
