An innovative electric conversion kit for single battery AA clocks or other single AA driven items. The conversion is achieved by an external AC to DC power supply simultaneously powering and trickle charging an internal NiMH Battery. In the case of a power loss, the converter will act as a power back up and immediately switch to the NiMH battery. Once power is restored, the clock automatically switches back to electric and then re-charges the NiMH for the next outage. The fully charged NiMH battery can last for up to 3 weeks.
