San Diego, California is known for its beauty, expansive beaches, and its consistent weather. Now, it will be known for something else: monsters, death, and an inexplicable, impossible fog. Bjorn Christensen—known to everyone as Tank—and the team are led to a stunningly beautiful mid-rise building in downtown San Diego. They join a retirement party for the architect who designed the structure. It’s a black-tie affair, something new for Tank. It should be fun. It was—until the fog rolled in, a fog unlike any other. And there are things in the fog. Ugly things. Vicious things. Things that can swim through the mist. Things that kill whatever they find. Tank soon realizes the fog is rising and bringing death with it. He may have to make the ultimate sacrifice.
