Every time Astrid thinks she’s making progress with Erik, it becomes clear that he has little regard for her feelings. While she’s beginning to find her place in the pack, she still struggles to find leverage over the alpha who owns her.

Erik continues to grapple with his wolf over Astrid. The animal seems to think she’s his mate, and there’s nothing he can do to dissuade it.
