This heating element enclosure kit is made from 304 Stainless Steel, and is perfect for protecting your element connections. This enclosure allows for easy maintenance and availability to service your water heating element. It is sized to fit any 2" connection, and has a 1" NPT threaded connection for a standard water heating elements. The slit in the 2" specially modified end cap allows liquid to drain out of the enclosure in the event of a leak, and helps prevent your circuits from shorting out due to flooding of the enclosure. Therefore when installed, the gap should always face towards the ground to allow proper drainage.
