Heavily in debt, couple Peter and Tania agree to a strange offer from a mysterious businessman. Peter must agree to one feminine change in his life every week for 1 year. In return they'll receive £1000 per week on the condition that they don't tell anyone about the offer.

It begins simply enough with pierced ears, but as he gradually changes his body, and his clothes get frillier and tighter he starts to have doubts. Tania is paying off all their debts and insists that they must continue through with it. For written in the contract they signed it stipulates that if they back out of it before the year is through they have to repay every penny.

After the first trip to the salon Peter is left looking more female than ever. He gets into trouble at work and ends up agreeing to hormone treatment to keep his job. He's further troubled by the resulting chemical castration, and Tania's solution leaves him feeling more degraded and less of a man than ever. Especially with their new role-playing in the bedroom....

He's quickly becoming Poppy, and as everyone is starting to treat him like a woman, his old self feels so far away. When he agrees to an amendment in the contract he finds himself sinking even further into femininity, and wondering what Tania is up to.
