Scotts EZ Seed Patch & Repair Sun and Shade is specifically designed to grow grass anywhere, including full sun and dense shade, guaranteed (subject to proper care)! This combination mulch, seed, and fertilizer includes mulch that absorbs 6x its weight in water and expands to surround the seed in a moist protective layer. It also includes Scotts best high performance grass seed with a protectant to keep seedlings safe against disease and tackifier that helps keep seed from washing away. Use this high performance mix to grow grass in full sun, dense shade, high traffic areas, and on slopes. When planting new grass seed, for best results, it's important to water twice daily for at least 3 weeks.
