The base is 1/2 inch baltic birch plywood. The playing surface is 1/4 inch baltic birch plywood. The tournament size board is 30 inches in diameter with at 26 inch playing surface. The frame is hardwood - usually maple. The pegs are neoprene over brass screws. The playing discs are standard 32mm as used in all official games. The finish is natural birch with 6 coats of varethane/urethane and 3 coats of polished paste wax. 13 each of black and natural playing pieces are included (one extra in case of loss) in a drawstring bag. Playing regulations are included.
