You can install the shell by laying your phone on it and lightly pushing the edges of the case over the edge of the phone. You then put that down on top of the plastic edge and snapped the bottom and edged is place. The power button is raised just a hair over the side so you can feel where it is but not enough that it will be pushed inadvertently.

A phone bracket and screen protector will come with the case from Jan.13
