Cityline Rio Bigleaf Hydrangea from Proven Winners is a small, early blooming hydrangea with flowers that change in color depending on soil acidity. Lower pH induces bluer flowers, while a higher pH induces pinker flowers. Add aluminum sulfate to encourage bluer flowers. Cityline Rio is also mildew resistant, and makes for a great container plant.

- Prefers partial to full sun (4+ hours) and well-drained soils. Grows to be 1-3 feet tall and wide. At time of shipment, this plant will be about 6 months to 1 year old.
- Blooms from early to late summer with blue, pink, and purple flowers. No pruning needed. Quart shrubs are 5-10 inches tall when they are shipped, depending on the season.
