This incredible three-disc release is a must have for collectors. Wagners opera Lohengrin is presented in this live recording from the Bayreuth Festival of 1960. Wagnerian conductor Hans Knappertsbusch does a remarkable job bringing out all of the complexities of this work. Performed by the Chor der Bayerischen Staatsoper and the Bayerisches Staatsorchester, this recording is a legendary find that shouldnt be overlooked.
