Edouard Lalo sat apart from the French musical establishment, eschewing both the back scratching of the Conservatoire and its members' impressionist ''musiques parfumes.'' Instead he gave us works filled with big-boned melodies. The expert members of the Leonore Piano Trio sink their bows and fingers into Lalo's Piano Trios Nos.1, 2 and 3 with appreciative gusto.
