Legendary filmmaker Ken Russell (The Lair of the White Worm, The Devils) directed this flamboyant film fantasia based on the life and untimely death of silent screen legend and most renowned lover, Rudolph Valentino, wonderfully played by the world s most celebrated dancer, Rudolf Nureyev (Nureyev s Don Quixote). Featuring Stunning Cinematography by Peter Suschitzky (Eastern Promises), gorgeous set designs and art direction by Philip Harrison (Mississippi Burning) and beautiful costumes by designer Shirley Russell (Reds).
