THIS SALE IS FOR THOSE THAT ALREADY OWN THE RAND OVEN--HERE YOU ARE BUYING ONLY THESE: A. 1 ea -- PIPEtalk Adjustable Reflector. I am selling the PIPEtalk ADJUSTABLE REFLECTOR only. The Tray and Rand Solar Cooker are NOT included. The REFLECTOR increases the RAND temperature to about 400F as tested on a winter morning in North Louisiana. The REFLECTOR fits Rand large solar vacuum tube cooker's old 4" and new 5" tubes. The reflector's width is 20 inches and is 26 inches long . The aluminum PIPEtalk REFLECTOR is coated with Glare. Glare uses a new technology uses a penetrating sealant Glassplexin. Simple to use. Set the Rand Solar Tube in the reflectors trough's cradles on each end and tilt until it faces the sun. (Max tilt angle is about 45 degrees) Two edges are reinforced with a aluminum 1" x 1" angle to protect you from sharp edges and allow you to carry it. There are Velcro straps to safely hold the RAND tube in the REFLECTOR'S cradle while in use. The RAND solar tube should be removed before transporting. The Rand solar sales information says that you can boost the heat to about 400 to 600 degrees using a reflector. As tested, this reflector will bring the cooker to 400F or more. The focus point is set at 6 inches above the bottom of the 24" curve. The focus was verified by computer design. It is simple & should provide years of service. Just aim & cook. The tilting stand angle is adjustable with wing nuts. This is made from heavy alum and birch plywood.
