Coming out is something every transgender person has to deal with, however, the only coming out manuals seem to be catered to those who identify as gay or lesbian. While there are pieces dedicated to helping trans people come out, most of them are buried at the end of LGBT manuals that are often written by someone who identifies as either L, G, or B. These people don’t know our stories and we deserve something dedicated to us.

This book delves into the problems transgender people face when they come out of the closet, and it offers helpful advice on how to come out, catered specifically to whether or not you’re looking to share yourself with your parents, your family, your best friend, or even those people whose opinions you aren’t necessarily looking for.
