It's as easy as 1) Set it! - Set the adapter in the upper corner of the cabinet. 2) Screw it! - Screw adapter into place. 3) Adjust it! - Adjust the damper based on door weight. Grass Unisoft damper adds on to your existing self-closing cabinet doors to create a soft closing action. No more slamming sounds from your cabinet doors. Works on the following cabinet and door types: Face Frame Cabinets with overlay doors and self-closing hinges. Frameless Cabinets with full overlay doors and self-closing hinges. Self-closing hinges are hinges which are spring loaded so that they close the cabinet door the last 1 to 2 inches of travel. Closing action is adjustable after installation. Typical installation location is above the top hinge on the door. Housing and adjustment knob are made from plastic.
