WHAT IS A WEBCAM COVER?

Webcam covers help protect you by keeping your webcam covered when not in use. It physically covers the camera with a sliding latch which can be opened to expose the camera.

WHY WOULD I NEED A WEBCAM COVER?

There are numerous incidents across the US of hackers spying on their victims, taking pictures and blackmailing them. Schools have been sued for spying on their students. When connecting to a meeting conference, your webcam can accidentally or purposely turn on, exposing you to your coworkers or clients at an awkward moment.

ARE THESE WEBCAM COVERS REALLY MADE IN SWITZERLAND?

Yes they are. We looked at manufacturing in China and the quality was not up to our standard. These are simply the most amazing Swiss designed high quality webcam covers we have seen.

WILL THIS WEBCAM COVER FIT ON MY DEVICE?

Our webcam cover fits on most devices, from iPhones iPads MacBooks and Macs to PCs, Laptops, Androids and other smart phones and tablets. We recommend placing this webcam cover on the front facing camera as this is typically what could be hacked or exposed. This webcam cover will not work on the back camera of the iPhone 6 as the camera is raised and there is no surface to attach to.

WILL THIS COVER FIT WITH MY PHONE CASE?

While these webcam covers are incredible slim and small, we can not guarantee that they will fit with all phone cases. However we have not seen a case that covers the front camera enough to cause a problem. We have seen cases that would cover the back camera and not allow the webcam cover to fit.
