Soon to breakthrough with her scintillating performance in "And God Created Woman", Bardot here plays the teasing temptress of her music teacher. Eric (Jean Marais) is the very married professor who finds himself with a lot of time on his hands. His wife (Denise Noël ) is dedicated to her career and soon Eric becomes very dedicated to being distracted by the young girls surrounding him. Eric is wickedly handsome and is adored by his young female charges, who gaze longingly at him during their lessons. But one in particular is determined to get him. That would be Sophie, played by 20 year old Brigitte Bardot. Not content to just gaze contentedly, Sophie plays a very strong and not at all subtle game. When she feels she's not making headway, she's not above swimming around nude in his garden pond. Could any man resist this? Filmed on location in Vienna, "School For Love" shows what happens when an irresistible force like Bardot meets a determined immovable object. What could the outcome be ?
