Hoof Trimming rasp and hoof pick useful to horse owners and farriers or barefoot hoof trimmers. The SR-2 is a 'U' shaped hoof-rasping tool with curved 'knife teeth' for cleaning bars and sole. These teeth 'shave' rather than scrape. It has a hoof pick and scraping point for removing dirt and grit from bars, sole, white line, and wall cracks. 3 different arcs for use on different shapes of sole. Applied with one- or two-hand grips in same manner as SR-1. High carbon steel for long lasting teeth. The SR-2-F is the narrower SR-2, with smaller or finer teeth. It is the overall easiest to use. Its 7/8" width fits best into tight curves of sole on smaller hooves. Best choice for smaller hands and occasional trimmers. Often works best on heavy or rough soles when used after SR-1 rasp tooth.
