Mikuni HSR Adapter for fitting Harley Davidson CV air-cleaners or S&S Shorty air-cleaners (where some modifications on some versions of the S&S backing plate may be required to either the plate as pictured or with the breather pipe). This adapter can also be used to fit the above air-cleaners to Mikuni HS40 carbs when fitted with the Mikunioz ABA65/55-17 spigot sleeve available as a separate part on Amazon. If you're using it with a CV air-cleaner the block with the 2 threaded holes and the dowl hole sits at around 7.30 on a clock face location as per the HS40 picture.
