The Petzl Reverso 4 is an ultra-light (59 g) multi-purpose belay/rappel device that regulates the amount of braking friction on the rope according to its diameter and condition.

  • ULTRALIGHT DESIGN: The REVERSO 4 weighs only 59 grams, has minimalist construction and hot-forged aluminum.
  • WORKS FOR ALL ROPES: Effective braking on single (8.9 mm or greater diameter), half and twin ropes (7.5 mm or greater diameter).
  • BELAY WITH EASE: Can belay the leader in one or two seconds and can be used for rappelling. In Reverso mode independent and simultaneous belaying of two seconds.
  • BRAKE POWER: The V-shaped friction channels give greater braking power on thin ropes. Can also adapt the braking power on larger diameter ropes.
  • ASYMMETRIC SIDE GROOVES: Increases the braking power for leader and top-rope falls, or while rappelling. Also improves rope glide through device when taking up slack.
