Our Chrome keyed main shut off ball valve kit is what every indoor, outdoor fireplace and fire pit needs to be safe. Most codes require a shut off valve at the appliance so it is in reach in case of an emergency.
Common sense also suggest that a shut off valve be within arms reach for emergencies. Our shut off ball valve is controlled by a key so when the key is not inserted in the valve it can't be operated.
This feature keeps small hands from accidentally turning on the gas. The chrome flange will provide a finished professional look to your project. It can be wall or floor mounted. With the valve body on one side of the structure insert the chrome flange and screw down until the structure is sandwiched between the valve and flange.
The 3/8 valve has 3/8 male flare fittings, the standard 1/2" valve has 1/2" NPT female threads
