The Gospel Mix 2016 is true to the decade-long compilation series that highlights talented independent artists. This industry needs new blood and fresh faces, says Douglas. The album ranges from contemporary flavors such as Zacardi Cortez's #YDIA and Byron Cage's Like No Other to inspiring power anthems such as James Fortune & FIYA's Prayers Saved My Life and Jennifer Mekel's Top 20 smash Great God. In between there's the retro groove of Mike E's It s Gonna Be Alright and the churchy funk of The Brown Boyz. My whole career has revolved around me finding great new talents or reinventing established artists and giving them a new platform, says Douglas. I feel this is the strongest Gospel Mix yet and I m really excited about it.
