The vines can tolerate part shade but prefer a sunny location where they can ramble up to 30 feet across either a substantial trellis, fence, or patio cover. Kiwi vines can be successfully grown in large containers. Harvest in late fall. Need well-drained soils and large volumes of water during the growing season.
