Great for all skin types, it's also excellent for sensitive skin that tends to be reactive to other treatments of this type. Our Mandelic Serum has a 10% concentration with a pH of 2.5. Initially, we advise you use your serum every-other-day... at night only... until your skin adjusts to the serum. Once the skin has adjusted, increase to a once daily application. What is Mandelic Acid? Mandelic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid. Derived from bitter almonds, it has a number of benefits for the skin. The molecular structure of mandelic acid is larger than better known alpha hydroxy acids such as glycolic acid and lactic acid. This means it takes longer to penetrate the skin's surface and is much less irritating. CAUTIONS: DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE NUT ALLERGIES.
