The lyrics in the song "Eternal Flame" state "Close your eyes, give me your hand... is this burning an eternal flame?" This was the inspiration for Xezo to create an intense finish in beautiful hues of red, burgundy, orange and black to create a pen that may be as beautiful as the song itself and as unique as feelings expressed in the song. These handcrafted and individually numbered pens of the Maestro series are made of solid brass and are painted using a hand held spray gun, in order to create a unique color overlap that resembles an intensely burning flame. Then the surface of each pen is thermo-baked, which turns the paint into beautiful hardened enamel. Finally, it is topped with multi-layers of clear coating for added protection and manually polished to provide a silky smooth finish. There are no two pens alike because the spraying of the paint on each pen is also a manual process, and each pen has a slightly different color overlap pattern. All metal parts including handmade pocket clip are solid brass with 18-karat gold plating and are hallmarked. The pen has a screw-on cap.
