An upright, drought tolerant, perennial, native to Europe but has naturalized throughout North America. The finely dissected leaves resemble those of a fern and are easily identified in the seedling stage. The small pink flowers are tightly compact forming a disc shaped head usually affixed to a single stem. Deep pink flowers rise above a mat of dark green leaves. Cerise Queen does well as a cut flower with a long vase life, and also holds up when dried. A reliable perennial, plant this yarrow where you want a touch of pink throughout the summer months.
