Product Review
Introduced in 1928, the California Wonder bell pepper became the standard for sweet peppers. Because of its excellent size and production, this pepper is used to breed new and superior types of garden peppers. These peppers can be found in most grocery stores and is commonly used in restaurants. Sowing: start pepper seeds indoors in peat pots about 8 weeks before the last expected spring frost. Sow them 1/4" deep and keep soil at 80F - 85F until germination; provide sunlight or a grow light for 12 - 16 hours a day. When outdoor temps reach 60F - 65F during the day and no less than 50F at night, transplant the seedlings 12" - 16" apart. Peppers also grow well in containers or raised beds. Keep soil evenly moist and weeds under control. If excess heat & sun cause plants to wilt, provide shade. Days to maturity: 85. WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE: a white envelope with rendering/description of the pepper on the front. Inside the sealed envelope, the seeds are secured inside a zipped up clear plastic bag.
