The STAR has almost the same design as the original REX but is somewhat heavier. The difference lies in the STAR's handle which is made completely of stainless steel. The blades and ergonomics are identical to the classic REX. Its slightly higher weight is appreciated by many kitchen virtuosi. Carbon steel blades should be washed and dried.
