Another dead body turns up in Rock Ridge, this time in a quaint room at the local inn. Rather than call the police, the innkeeper, Amelia knows just who can fix this: Kate Flaherty.

As Kate investigates the life of the IT Specialist, who was found bludgeoned, in order to clear Amelia's name, she discovers the brilliant, young man had a secret life, one which ties tightly to the disappearance of Becky Langley.

And it is no wonder Amelia is Becky's mother.
