This 1969 album was originally released as a double LP, with one half studio recordings and the other live in concert at New York's legendary Fillmore East. Here they are both presented together on one CD. The Chambers Brothers were part of the wave of new music that integrated American blues and gospel traditions with modern psychedelic and rock elements. Their music has been kept alive through heavy use in film soundtracks.
