5 inches long aluminum stringing tool. Just cut the end of the string to fit the tool and screw it into the end and start your project. Just the single thickness to pull through the holes. Other tools you have double the leather plus the thickness of the tool making it harder to lace and possibly traring the leather. See images above
- A great tool you can use to restring mitts. with leather laces
- Use with 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4 inch leather strips. Just cut the end of the strip to fit the needle.
- The thickness of the leather is all you pull through the holes. You don't double the thickness like you would with the hook method making possibly tearing the leather.
