Digital food thermometer is excellent for indoor and outdoor use. Use it for patio grilling and BBQ, smoking, and in the kitchen. It can even be used to check baby's bath water temperature. However, it is not a candy thermometer. The large LCD screen can be easily seen in bright sunshine. Although the thermometer does not read instantly, it does quickly settle on the accurate temperature.
