Rival is a gastronomic experience and a new way of adding salt to food. Natural Himalayan salt, the purest mineral salt, is grated onto the dish with an 18/8 stainless steel grater. The salt and rasp become the centrepiece of the dining table when placed in the accompanying beech wood stand. Jens Scan ringer, founder, discovered this method of salt grating at a Japanese restaurant in China. He designed the product to represent a fusion between Scandinavian and Japanese design.
