This cable is very useful for building, upgrading, or repairing computers. Older computers may not have any SATA connectors where as all new hard drives are using the SATA standard. Even with newer computers, your power supply may not have enough connectors for the devices you want to add. This Y splitter cable allows you to connect two drives to one power supply connection.

NEW UPDATE! As of January 16, 2017, cables are now using a higher quality injection molded SATA connector to prevent loose wires from coming back out.
