With sword-like foliage and tall flower scapes they make a stunning addition to any sunny garden location. Gladiolus 'Red Sensation' has intense red florets. This variety 'Red Sensation' will reach a height of 55 to 65 inches and will bloom approx 70-75 days after planting. Plant your gladiolus after the danger of frost has past and the ground temperatures warm to at least 50 degrees. Planting at two week intervals will ensure blooms over a longer period of time. Perhaps the beautiful of all cut flowers, gladiolus makes an exceptionally colorful display at roadside stands and is a cut flower staple at farmers' markets.
