This short murder mystery focuses on the plight of two adolescent orphaned sisters and their struggle to eke out a living in the unforgiving atmosphere of New York City in the nineteenth century. As things became more desperate, they begin to question everything they thought they knew about themselves and each other. Just how far will they go in order to secure the lives they’ve always dreamt they deserved? What would they be willing to sacrifice to make their dreams come true? Or rather... who?
Based off of the short mystery story "The Wicked Sister". Myself being a bilingual learner I have found it difficult to find entertaining and engaging bilingual books not aimed at children. So the target audience for this addition I hope will enjoy reading a short bi-lingual murder mystery/thriller aimed at adults (although there is nothing really objectionable for YA readers). I would rate this as a B2 level of reading- although the English interpretations are provided below each paragraph. After reading through the book that way, it is provided completely in Swedish, and then in English.
