Base Preparation Grade project area to height of grid and sub-base (see details below) Lay sub-base if needed. A proper TRUEGRID installation requires consideration of sub-base needs. Laying Grid 1. Start in corner of project area with male tabs of first grid facing towards the center of the area 2. Line up female slots of next grid over male tabs of first grid. 3. Press down with feet to lock grid into place. 4. Repeat until area is covered with connected grid. 5. Gravel Fill: Fill grid with desired aggregate to top of grid. Lightly compact to settle. Grass Fill: Fill grid with soil and seed or sod.
