This Zipper Pile combination installation tool is constructed of steel wheels & yokes with a wooden handle, and it comes in a natural wood finish. The steel wheels have an outside diameter of 1-1/4 in.; one with a concave edge and the other with a convex edge. The wooden handle has a total reach of 5-1/8 in., and it is capped with 2 steel grommets at both ends which are designed to lock in the steel yokes, while at the same time preventing them from splitting the wooden handle. This installation tool is used by many for the installation of Prime-Line’s Zipper Pile weatherization products. Installation Tip: Simply cut through the length and center of the old pile backer with a utility knife and pull it out. Zip in the new pile with installation tool.
