Sharon Kinne committed two murders in 1960, shooting her husband James Kinne as well as Patricia Jones, wife of her lover.
Initially, Sharon was not charged with the death of James Kinne as she laid the blame on her two-year-old daughter whom she said “like to play with her daddy's guns.”
She was later tried for the murder of Patricia Jones several times, however, with each case ending in a mistrial. Sharon would then escape to Mexico before a fourth trial could be held.
While in Mexico with yet another boyfriend, Sharon would kill a Mexican radio announcer named Francisco Ordonez. She would not escape the hand of justice this go around as she would be convicted in a Mexican court of law and be sentenced to ten years in jail. Three more years additional years were added onto her sentence after she unsuccessfully appealed.
But Sharon would never take defeat lying down. She would escape from the Mexican prison in December of 1969 and would remain at large to this very day.
This is her story.
