ABOUT THE PRODUCT: If you found other Vitamin C products to be harsh or drying, it may be because they are using an unstable ingredient such as ascorbic acid. We use a gentle yet effective form in a flawless formulation to give you a gentle, yet effective Vitamin C Moisturizer. Unlike ascorbic acid it does not break down in water based products so you can be sure it is safe to use.
We are against using ascorbic acid for many reasons, but as we are first and foremost a sensitive skin care line, we must use the gentlest form of Vitamin C, which is much more expensive form. Not only is this form gentle on all skin types, meaning you won't get that dryness/redness that comes with most Vitamin C creams, it is enhanced with Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid as a delivery system. Look up the market price of ascorbic acid, and it is about $12/lb while ours is over $300/lb. Then compare the different vitamin c products out there and what they are made of. This is the most efficacious C cream on the market. You will get results with consistent use. It takes time to change the biochemistry of your skin. It didn't take 2 weeks for your skin to age, so you must give it some time to reverse symptoms of aging.
